Pendent Cotyledon, Cotyledon pendens. I bought two succulent plants and realised that when they flowered I would probably be able to identify them. WELL this morning I went out and it turns out that I have two specimens of COTYLEDON PENDENS would you believe. Evidently the plant is found hanging from cliff faces along the lower Mbhashe River in the Eastern Cape in the Republic of South Africa. The plant is considered rare. #cotyledonpendens

CLIFF HANGER. This plant is considered rare. It surprises me still, how sometimes one can be IN TUNE with the Universe. I placed this plant on a high wall in order to get good lighting and a good camera angle because a lot of the plant growth was overhangingthe side of the little pot. That said, it turns out that in it's natural habitat the plant hangs from cliff faces over the lower Mbhashe River in the Eastern Cape. I would call this SYNCHRONICITY. #cotyledonpendens
