Narrow-leaved milkweed (asclepias fascicularis) is native to California. https://t.co/Dlo9TAstwX https://t.co/oHTnoXIzQ0
From today, Asclepias fascicularis is a magnet for neat stuff. Hey, if you're in Santa Monica tomorrow, come join me for monarch monitoring training. I can't promise we'll see a monarch, maybe a residential one, but we will talk about the Western Monarch Count alot. https://t.co/pmzpwtpHRe
@AnneWheaton @suns_tutu_fan What plants are attracting the Monarchs to your yard? We have narrow leaf milkweed (Asclepias Fascicularis), but no Monarchs yet.
@FergusFun11 @donnadoutsk Asclepias fascicularis “Green milkweed” is a common name for several different milkweeds. This is why common names should not be used when looking for native species.
