コノハサボテンの代表種 P. aculeata の変種で、葉表がグリーンから明るい黄金色、葉裏がピンクや赤に染まる、明るくキュートなカラーバリエーション。夏に白い花を咲かせてくれます。レモンバインやイエローローズカクタスとも呼ばれています。
