This is a cultivar often seen paired with Reiwa no Momoko P. nelii 'Reiwa no Momoko' . It's larger and more robust than Momoko. There are rumors that it was artificially created by chemically removing the pigment from Imperial Gem P. nelii ((Purple Imperial Gem?)). There are reports from growers who have cultivated it long-term, but due to the nature of mesembs, as it grows older the outer leaves—where some chlorophyll remains—will fall off, leaving only the completely variegated center. (They can no longer photosynthesize, causing the plant to wither). For this reason, it seems almost destined to struggle with proper growth.
