Here are all the native senecios on my February runs through Ōtautahi-Christchurch, NZ. Yellow=Senecio glaucophyllus (endemic),blue=Senecio glomeratus, green=Senecio minimus, white=Senecio quadridentatus, brown=Senecio hispidulus. S. hispidulus is new to ChCh but native to NZ. 8/8 https://t.co/0FAF4wSNwA
@parkecology I tried to add an audio note as an example but it doesn't look like Twitter can handle audio files. It says "Senecio glomeratus left close about one patch and also bellbird song left mid one". And that was at 3:44:34 PM on 2021-10-07 at -43.619601, 172.652881, while biking.
I saw my first Senecio glomeratus (NZ/Aust native) as a wild weed in California: https://t.co/lwlnUnK6Ot
