A flat, sharply-ridged cactus with a deep green color... Or so it seems at first. In reality, the photo shows it under strong winter sunlight, a time when it 'blushes' into vibrant shades, almost like it's basking in the sun itself. By the way, you might also come across it labeled as 'Cephalophora of the Malacocarpus genus.' It’s true the plant was once classified under Malacocarpus, but as for 'Cephalophora,' the origins of that name are still a mystery—I'm currently looking into it.
