There’s a type known as the yellow-edged variegated Blue Diamond A. titanota 'Blue Diamond' , which is actually the variegated form of the so-called Black and Blue A. titanota 'Black And Blue' . Because of this connection to the original name, some people have started calling it "Black Diamond." However, there’s also a different, non-variegated Agave titanota that has been given the name Black Diamond and is being sold under that label, so it’s something to keep an eye on. If you’re searching for a variegated Black and Blue, it’s probably better to look up "Blue Diamond" instead.
