A selected form of the so-called Agave titanota A. titanota . Its leaves are short, and while the spines themselves aren’t especially large, the second spines are long and wavy—giving it a look reminiscent of the sun, which is where its name comes from. Originally from Taiwan. If you’re curious about the white-centered variegated type that started appearing on the market from 2025, please see Agave titanota 'Sun God Variegated' A. titanota 'Sun God Variegated' .
