エボリスピナのツメがうねっているものを「陽炎 A. utahensis var.eborispina 'Kagerou' 」といいますが、その頂点だとか最高傑作と言われている選抜品種。西沢は、信州西沢サボテン園さんのこと。うねりが強すぎて絡み合い、手で外してあげないと葉がうまく展開できないという手間隙かかることもきっと愛着が湧く理由の1つ。
