This is about Crassula sericea var. velutina C. sericea var.velutina . When it was introduced to China, it was called "小緑貝" (Little Green Shell), and from there, somewhat awkward translations like "Viridi Shell" or "Little Green Shellfish" began circulating. Note that there's also a variety of Echeveria E. 'Viridi Shell' with the same name, but they are entirely different species.
