@JackBaddams Killer shrimp, demon shrimp, zebra mussels, signal crayfish plague, crassula helmsii...all could be present in that canal. We have to stop the spread.
@mxmorggo crassula helmsii? maybe?
One for @Plant_Alert: New Zealand Pygmyweed (Crassula helmsii), considered one of the most invasive non-native plants in the U.K. covered by EU regulation on Invasive Alien Species, taking over a pond on Stoneleigh Park. https://t.co/SCITfZFL6h
2nd day at @PrestonMontford and we started the day clearing reeds and invasive New Zealand Pigmyweed (Crassula helmsii) from the ‘Mitigation Pond’. Followed by tidying up and harvesting a Hazel hedge. Thanks very much for having us and for the invertebrate ID training too! https://t.co/Z0txSOiZsf
