A rare green has arrived. Its simple form consists of bright green, jointed stems that spread out like pipes—almost reminiscent of horsetail. This plant, related to milkweeds and native to Madagascar, is a relatively new variety registered around 2001. It's been offered in the trade as a member of the genus Photalocia, but the entire Photalocia genus has now been reclassified under Cynanchum(Synanchum), so both the genus and species names have changed. The overall look is similar to the milk bush E. tirucalli and E. leucodendron .
