Known affectionately as "Texas Red Yucca," this horticultural variety of Hesperaloe parviflora H. parviflora is a compact plant distinguished by its darker-toned flowers. It was developed in 2009 by Ronald Gass of Arizona. Its official name is "Perpa," while "Breaklights" is its trade name.
