It looks as if white dots are floating on the surface—such a mysterious design! The signature "well-developed tubercles" of Mammillaria are even more pronounced here, forming long, slender, cylindrical shapes. Only at the tips do you find short, densely packed fuzz, which is the secret behind those "floating dots." This distinct form makes it incredibly popular, but in the wild, it's only found in a very limited area, with very few individuals, and it grows slowly—so it's become a prime example of a high-value cactus. Grafting is said to be an effective way to speed up its growth. It goes dormant in winter, so stop watering during this time and keep it in a spot with gentle sunlight. The flowers bloom as usual, but the seeds apparently develop inside the stem. Is this its way of bravely protecting and nurturing its own offspring?

https://t.co/eDzUSC8yDD https://t.co/GONhPzw1ck https://t.co/MDqIaoKZ0f
