Just as its name “Baby Finger” suggests, Pachyphytum pachyphyllum features chubby, rounded leaves that are thick, short, and irresistibly cute. The basic color is a soft, pale purple. It’s officially referred to by the scientific name “machucae,” native to central Mexico. However, based on what I’ve seen in photos, “machucae” tends to have longer leaves and looks more like P. 'Shireiden' , so my guess is that Baby Finger is actually a selected horticultural variety of that species.
