Finally separated the formerly-Greenovia Aeonium seedlings! Some of them never really took off and are much smaller but the larger ones are about the size of a thumbnail. My hope is that they’ll catch up now that they have more space to themselves. Rose-shaped succulents have been appearing more in posts on Instagram and those are what these look like when the adults go dormant and the leaves fold up when summers get too hot— Aeoniums prefer temperatures humans are also comfortable at! All of these are Aeonium aureum ex El Hierro (formerly Greenovia Aurea) except for one which is Aeonium dodrantale.
