@Shoji_tiger There used to be an orchid greenhouse not too far from where MFF was, so I'd get neat stuff from them each year... I was growing Dendrophylax lindenii ghost orchids on "fuzzy" type Tillandsia at one point too... I figured the Tillandsias would not rot as fast as bark...
