Agave celsii宽大的叶片拥有无刺的锐利叶缘，使得“セルシーノバ”这一品种显得格外优雅，十分受欢迎。而セルシー锦的叶片相对较窄，带有刺，整体感觉类似于叶片宽阔的白闪光 A. angustifolia 'Marginata' 。关于“セルシー”是否等于翡翠盘，也有这样的说法，因此一并写出。不过通常所说的翡翠盘，似乎更常指的是斑缘的Agave attenuata，也就是斑入り种 A. attenuata 'Yellow stripes' 。
