Cereus repandus说到“柱状仙人掌”，本应是指所有纵向生长的仙人掌，不过如果你在店里看到只标着“柱状仙人掌”的名牌，那它多半就是这个Cereus repandus（鬼面角）了。它没有刺，拥有典型的蓝灰色表皮，外观极为简洁。常常可以见到从根部附近分枝，被修剪过顶端后，形成独特复杂形态的植株。
