This plant is a variation of the quirky-cute Adromischus marianae A. marianae , featuring a smooth body covered in dotted patterns—classic traits for an Adromischus species. As it grows, distinctive vertical lines appear along the edges of its leaves, which is one of its main features. While it has been selectively bred for this trait, it's still unclear whether there are noticeable differences compared to the standard "marianae" commonly found in Japan. It closely resembles Adromischus cooperi in appearance, but the shape is different.
