This is a type that descends from A. 'Meiji' and features leaves that curve backwards. The way the leaves twist is similar to that of E. runyonii 'Topsy Turvy' . It comes from the same lineage as A. 'Hongyan' and A. 'Mardi Gras' , so under stressful conditions, you can look forward to beautiful fluorescent colors... or so we hope! The plant’s shape and color both develop fully only with proper growth and in good cultivation conditions, so let's trust the process and care for it patiently. Originating from China, it is known in Chinese as “舞天姬(Wu Tian Ji)” or “维纳斯(Wei Na Si).” In English-speaking countries, you’ll find them sold as Dancing Beauty and Venus, which are translations of those names. Both its name and its mature appearance easily make it one of the most stunning in the Aeonium world.
