A mysterious and strikingly beautiful swirl, almost like waves of purple rolling in. From the center, a hint of pale green peeks through as dark purple to reddish-purple leaves softly undulate outward in multiple layers—truly a dramatic shape worthy of the "Wave" name. Its overall look closely resembles the already popular 'Bilang' in Japan, but this one is clearly the purple version. That said, the sample plant I eagerly ordered is still growing, so I'm curious to see just how much of a "Purple Wave" it will become (though first, it needs to make it through summer…). It likely originated in China, and its name, 'ZiLang', is simply the Chinese reading. Sometimes you'll also see it called "Purple Wave" in English.
