Variegated type of A. decorum . Its leaves are glossy and notably firm. For an Aeonium, it forms relatively small rosettes—about 5 to 8 cm across—which cluster together in a charming way. The striking contrast between white and lime green already makes it adorable, but in its peak coloring season, the rosette edges become outlined in pink, boosting its cuteness to the max. Like other Aeoniums, it is sensitive to summer heat and should be protected accordingly. It closely resembles Aeonium 'Kiwi' A. 'Kiwi' , to the point where it's difficult to definitively tell them apart.

As a winter-growing Aeonium, it is quite vulnerable to summer heat. That said, as long as you avoid strong sunlight and keep it in a cool, shaded outdoor spot, it can generally get through the summer stress-free. Even if the leaves shrivel up, as long as even a tiny growth point survives, there's a good chance it will come back. Aeoniums are impressively resilient: even when reduced to just a bare stem, they can still sprout new shoots. It did take two years for mine to return to a reasonable size, though…
Here is the record of its miraculous recovery:
Looking back, you can see that its reddish coloring emerges from spring into early summer (the hot period), while from autumn to winter it actually appears a healthy green and yellow. The seasonal timing is almost the reverse of what you’d expect. So, if you notice that it’s still red well into June, that’s a warning sign that the sunlight may be too strong—try moving it to a cooler, shaded spot until around the end of September.
