A highly ornamental Agave with a compact shape that fits perfectly into a 7cm pot, spreading its dense leaves adorned with striking yellow-edged variegation and sparkling white filaments—it's a plant you’ll never tire of admiring. This Agave seems to have started appearing on Yahoo! Auctions around 2024. In general, filamentous Agaves often have uncertain classification and origins, so the roots of this particular variety aren’t entirely clear. However, it seems most similar to the plants distributed as A. schidigera 'Shira ito no Ohi' . Some have even pointed out that it resembles the "Ohi Sasano yuki B Type," and I can understand that comparison. By the way, varieties labeled with names like A. victoriae-reginae 'Kizan' or "Yo no Yuki" are actually different species—they lack filaments and have thicker leaves, so you can easily tell they belong to a different line.
