A selected form of the so-called Titanota A. titanota . Its hallmark is the exceptionally long, shimmering, and jet-black central spines, which, combined with brown claws, give it a captivating and mysterious vibe. Originating from Taiwan. As a named specimen that appeared after "Caesar A. titanota 'Caesar' ," it pioneered the wave of named selections and continues to enjoy popularity in 2025, rivaling Caesar (though it's somewhat less available and a bit pricier). The name often seen as "黑帝斯(黑帝斯)" is the Chinese reading of "Hades(Ha Desi)," while in Japanese it would read as "Kokuteiki." "恐竜歯牙(Kyoryu Shiga)," "恐竜牙歯(Kyoryu Gashi/Kiba)," and "Inferno" are also alternate names for Hades.

"Caesar A. titanota 'Caesar' " emerged and drew attention to the selected forms of Titanota, and this was the next notable named specimen to follow. Its most distinctive feature is the exceptionally long, glossy black central spines, which, paired with brown claws, create a captivating and mysterious presence. As it matures, the black-to-brown claws reportedly become more pronounced, though I'm curious to see just how far this trait develops in my own Hades.
As of 2025, even specimens of this named form are now within easy reach price-wise, but when mine first arrived, even the bean-sized, seemingly half-dead offsets still fetched a surprisingly high price. This is the growth record of the plant I commemoratively named "Hades No. 1."
