A beautiful new variety with tiger-striped leaves that turn a deep purple during the cold season. The way the purple hue spreads on the leaf tips looks just like the sky right before dawn. This variety was created by Coron Cactus of Mie Prefecture back when they were in their twenties, around the year 2000, though it wasn't released until at least 2015. There are rumors it's a hybrid between A. 'Chiyohime' and A. descoingsii , but the creator says it was "born from the pursuit of...", suggesting there's an even deeper backstory behind it.
