This elegant color variation of the shiny Lithops cultivar "Li Furen L. salicola ", features a rich, deep purple hue that gives off a sense of sophistication and nobility. Discovered from seed by Japanese enthusiast Takumi Okada, bred and propagated by Tsutomu Sato, and named by American botanist Steven Hammer, this variety was originally simply called "Violet." As a result, it is sometimes referred to as Sato's Violet.
