This elegant species spreads its slender leaves in a graceful fan shape. Its gently wavy edges are trimmed with a stylish red line. It's often mistaken for Sansevieria ehrenbergii S. ehrenbergii , and the two are sometimes distributed under the same name. That’s not too surprising: Sansevieria ehrenbergii S. ehrenbergii was discovered and registered in 1875, and later, in 1905, another botanist discovered and registered the different plant that is now known as Sansevieria perrotti S. ehrenbergii . Even expert scholars can mix them up—they really are look-alikes!
