This is a surprisingly rare Sempervivum whose entire leaves are covered in fine, cotton candy-like fuzz. It closely resembles Sempervivum ciliosum S. ciliosum , with slender, densely packed leaves, and often forms clusters of small rosettes. In the photo, the rosettes are a bit open, but when conditions get dry, the leaves close up, turning perfectly round—an absolutely adorable look.
