A truly unique Sempervivum with leaves that form tubes. If you look closely, you'll see there are more leaves nestled inside each tube—it never gets boring to observe! Of course, some people might find this odd or even a little creepy... The tubular leaves are caused by a spontaneous mutation, but what was the original species (scientific name) before this mutation? In Japan, ossetiense is the common answer, while overseas, tectrum is more widely accepted. Here at PUKUBOOK, we avoid taking sides by not listing either name.
