冬に真っ赤に染まる、大きな丸い葉っぱを広げる個性的な人気種で「デザートローズ」で流通している人気種。「唐印」とも呼ばれることが多いのですが、どうも「唐印」はシンプルなグリーンで、学名は K. thyrsiflora 。こちらは「紅唐印」と呼んであげるべきではないか…という話がチラホラと。両種の違いなど詳しくは K. thyrsiflora へ…。この種の斑入り種は海外で K. 'Fantastic' というなかなかアメイジングな名前で流通しています。
