A variety of " T. heteromorpha ". Native to the Cajamarca region at elevations of 500–1200 meters, this plant differs from the typical species by having leaves that are tightly packed together and a fuzzier, thicker coating of trichomes. The leaves themselves are firmer, creating a brush-like, mounded appearance. Its noticeably strong, upright stems and abundant foliage make for a robust impression, and when it forms clusters, the impact is truly impressive.
