Adromischus marianae학명 marianae는 아마도 "마리아니아에 A. marianiae "의 오타일 가능성이 큽니다. 이 문제는 상당히 복잡하고, 전 세계적으로도 아직 정설이 없는데요, ① Kew 가든에서 공식적으로 채택하고 있고 ② 생산자 중 유일하게 "marianiae가 맞다"고 단언하는 경우도 있으며, ③ 애초에 이 명칭은 식물명을 붙인 사람의 아내 Marian Marloth에게 바치는 이름이라, 명명 규칙상 n으로 끝나면 -iae를 붙인 marianiae가 정식이 됩니다(하지만 같은 연원의 I. marianae 에는 i가 빠져 있습니다...). 이런 이유로 PUKUBOOK에서는 이 설을 채택합니다. 학술적으로는 두 표기가 모두 같은 식물을 가리킨다는 점이 분명하여, 별다른 혼란은 없습니다.
