@kooilovu i think that’s the one!!! i checked with some other accounts too and they all say it’s Euphorbia Tirucali aka pencil cactus, so this is the one hehehehh thank you for helping me out tiff https://t.co/dOqRnW7PkI
Say hello to Euphorbia pulvinata variegata, commonly know as the pincushion euphorbia. This is another stunner from South Africa, and the variegation adds such a unique look to the pattern of the plant. If you sun stress this plant, it adds shades of pink to the current pattern. https://t.co/RaaBxohfRA
Had my eye on making this little cactus/euphorbia thing and I think I’m happy with how it’s turned out. https://t.co/hm6hmdKWLB
@sharonsprouts @relatableisaiah @mayaisfiya @bocxtop It's not actually a cactus. It's a Euphorbia, probably E. ingens variegata from what I can tell. They look like cactus but they have a caustic milky sap inside and they like a little more water than cacti, which is why this specimen looks a little dehydrated
@fetidwvrm @mu5h_ I second all of this! The cactus is a rhipsalis not euphorbia but care is the same
Decided to take this free plant, which, upon googling, I discovered is not a cactus but a euphorbia which has toxic sap that burns your flesh and can kill you. https://t.co/hjDrbjGWrR
@FlutterbyFlora Even those little asymmetrical parts are charming. All natural, vivid & strong! Simply lovable for a lifetime. Grannie called this sort "prosperity of the house"!When euphorbia & cactus bloomed before Christmas,we all rejoiced for we knew that our home was further blessed!
Plants like this Pencil Cactus (Euphorbia) ooze milky white latex from injured parts of the plant. Rubber Trees (Ficus), Elephant Ears (Arums), and Wax Plants (Milkweeds) all have latex-containing sap. So be very cautious of this if you have a latex allergy. #thenorthernreaper https://t.co/QXdoOV680C
just got this euphorbia poisonnii variegata in the mail https://t.co/5m5nFPF81i
@TerryCretin @Fifi_Borgia Yeah euphorbia is a very large genus ,some have flowers that look like leaf, I think this is the one https://t.co/tP91sNlT5b
We also placed 2nd in rookie division, Euphorbias of Madagascar for this little guy! My first Euphorbia that really started the fixation. Scored this E. Genoudiana from @mickeysplants last winter. Vintage pot.… https://t.co/lSYjnhsudS
This tweet is misleading bc Euphorbia isn’t a cactus, it’s a succulent! Sorry, should have worded better
Cacti in Kenya?Nope! This is actually called a euphorbia, one of the plants native to dryer regions of Africa. It is also nicknamed a hat-rack cactus, candelabra cactus or dragon bones. #traveltuesday #metowe #kenya #randomfacts https://t.co/PWVLfvVtiN
ppl on cactus reddit get so pissy when someone posts a euphorbia and maybe this makes me a euphorbia apologist but I say: who cares
Another Euphorbia in bloom. We have this listed as E. griseola. The species is native to the D.R. of Congo. This spiny succulent shrub can grow up to 10 ft tall from a single stem creating a tree like form. https://t.co/4JNkMsmX5N
The medusoid Euphorbia I bought labelled as "cactus" at a garden centre earlier this year. I still don't know its species, but here it is for #EuphorbiaThursday. #succulents #euphorbia https://t.co/Jz2NFA5JgQ
This is a #Euphorbia obtusifolia. Two things I'm amazed by: the first, that species within a genus can be so morphologically diverse. This one is so different from many of its cousins. And second, how isolating a plant by growing a single stem in a pot, … https://t.co/jd3cMJFFT2 https://t.co/1BLa13MG0U
Oops. Just bought a new Euphorbia. This one is called Loricata. https://t.co/4dW2rFDdeO
@LevingeJulie @SimonTinning In one group of Madagascan species in the sub-family Euphorbia section Goniostema (E. aueoviridiflora, E. capmanambatoensis, E. iharanae, E. leuconeura, E. neohumbertii, E. viguieri) there is a tendency for a further pseudanthium to grow from the cyme.
#tbt Our Euphorbia have been busy a bit earlier this year, shooting up with lime green lushness (E.polychroma)... https://t.co/YRUqCtweFb
