In the case of this aloe, the name most likely means the gemstone Lazurite (as confirmed by the handwritten TCT label). Lazurite is the intense blue mineral once believed to be the main component of lapis lazuli’s vibrant color, and it’s known for its complex patterns and textures—often with golden specks of pyrite as inclusions.
