A robust, vigorous Graptopetalum that rapidly multiplies, forming clusters of small rosettes about 1–2 cm in diameter. The name "Hime-shuurei" sounds like it means "a miniature form of Shuurei G. 'Francesco Baldi' ", but despite the similar appearance, they aren’t actually related. By the way, the scientific name for "Hime-shuurei" is commonly given as Graptopetalum mendozae, but there’s also a theory that "Hime-shuurei is actually Mirinae G. 'Mirinae' ". Since Graptopetalum mendozae and Mirinae are notoriously hard to distinguish, which one Hime-shuurei really is remains something of a mystery.
