A charming hybrid with short, pointed leaves that form tight clusters as the plant multiplies. True to its Graptopetalum lineage, it gradually develops a bit of a stem as it matures. It's generally easy to care for, but does have a slight weakness to humidity and stuffiness, so just be a little cautious there. This plant is sometimes sold as an Echeveria, but it's actually a quarter hybrid (its parents are G. filiferum and G. 'Titubans' ). It’s a relatively new cultivar that originated in Australia in 1997. The name Margarete Reppin comes from a collector who lived in Adelaide. Unlike the flower name "Margaret Reppin," there's an extra "e" at the end of this one—so don't mix them up!
