A round cactus with a glossy body and sharp, slender spines stretching out boldly. It produces pink flowers. The scientific name is most often written as "Horidispinum" in Japanese. "Horudesusupina" is in fact a closer reading of the Latin, so we've combined both names on this page. However, since sellers sometimes separate them intentionally and there's no solid proof that they're definitely the same, it's probably safest to think of them as either distinct varieties or possibly entirely different plants.
