A different variation of G. mihanovichii . This strain was collected in 2000 from the Aguadulce area in Paraguay. It stands out for its fine, sharply defined horizontal ribs and short spines that curl downward. The slender, sharply edged ribs, combined with a glossy yet somewhat rough texture and a deep, dark green body, give it a metallic feel. It's a really cool plant. "LB" is a field number given to strains collected by Mr. C. A. Ludwig Bercht from the Netherlands, and several other variants are also in circulation.
