This is the original form of 'Hibotan', perhaps the world's most famous color cactus. It features distinct ribs with horizontal, washboard-like lines, a glossy body, and rows of short, sharp spines at the tip. With its simple and cool appearance, it stands out for its understated, stylish charm—even without vibrant colors, it remains highly popular. There are many variations, such as those called Zebra, @ , and LB2178. However, when you hear names like 'Zuiunmaru', 'Botan Gyoku', or 'Mihanovichii', these can refer to different types or origins.

Gymnocalycium mihanovichii, cactus de Argentina y Paraguay. https://t.co/hraYKheFsS
So apparently this is two dif species of cactus grafted together?? The yellow part is a mutant achlorophyllous yellow variety of Gymnocalycium mihanovichii grafted to the base which is a species of Selenicereus! A two for one deal https://t.co/pVK7bBve8j
@L3ndam0nita @makukins Por supuesto! No suelen durar muchos años https://t.co/Tt8S5xeZAA
