This is a surprisingly rare color variation of K. tomentosa , where the pale spots fade away as the plant grows, leaving a nearly pure white tone. It looks similar to K. tomentosa 'Show Girl' , but the spots here are lighter, and the overall color is whiter. The inner leaves are a bit darker with a reddish tint, making it easy to tell them apart. The name “Shirousagi” (meaning “white rabbit”) was given by Mr. Hanekane of the Cactus Consultation Room.
