Unlike most other Peperomia with round leaves, this species is a member of the Peperomia family distinguished by its slender, clustered leaves. Native to the tropical rainforests of South America, it’s less like a typical succulent—preferring humid environments, avoiding direct sunlight, and not doing well in either extreme heat or cold. Regular misting to maintain humidity will help keep it happy, making it a great choice for an indoor plant. "Happy Bean" is the common name for Peperomia ferreyrae.
