Adromischus marianiae var. herrei두리안, 여주... 아니면 "피그몬"이라는 말도 있지만, 개인적으로는 "딸기!"라고 생각하고 싶어요(적어도 크리스마스 컬러 솔방울이길 바라요) — 참 깜찍한 아드로미스크스입니다. 마리아나에와 헤레이 모두 "개체차가 심하다"는 특징이 있고, 헤레이는 이 가시처럼 오돌토돌한 질감이 아이덴티티죠. 하지만 형태나 색상에는 다양한 변종이 유통되고 있어요. 사진 속 친구는 봄철 단풍이 들어 새빨갛게 물들었지만, 여름에는 여주처럼 녹색이 되기도 하고, 1년 내내 푸른 색을 띠는 종류도 있다고 해요.
