articulatus
Tephrocactus articulatusまるで紙テープを飛ばして舞っているような、サボテン界のリボンダンサーがこの「武蔵野」。正確にはリボンのトゲを持つのはパピカンサス T. articulatus var.papyracanthus に分類されるようで（もともと Tephrocactus papyracanthus だった）、articulatus のほとんどがリボンも持たなければトゲもないコが多いです。アルゼンチンの高原育ちで夏の暑さには弱く水は1ヶ月に1回程度に。ボディが折れやすく、大きく育てるのは難しいようです。
このリボンは、わざとボディを折って子孫を増やす機会を増やそうと、風を受けようとしてるんじゃないかなーと推察……。健気です。
