articulatus var. diadematus
Tephrocactus articulatus var. diadematus이름에서 알 수 있듯이, T. articulatus 보다 가시가 더 긴 변종입니다. 하지만 이 품종 T. articulatus var.diadematus f.inermis 에는 오히려 가시가 없습니다. 가시는 적갈색이며, 꽃은 노르스름한 흰색에서 분홍색을 띱니다. 본종 T. articulatus 과의 차이는 굳이 말하자면 "몸체의 길고 가는 형태"에 있는 것 같습니다. 가시는 있지만, 영어권에서는 이에 대해 따로 언급하지 않고 "Pine Cone Cactus"라고 부르고 있습니다.

Tephrocactus articulatus var. diadematus is a nearly spineless form with no spines and without (or with very few) glochids on the new growth. These usually fall off as it ages.The segments usually grow one or two new segments each year from the stem tips. https://t.co/2B7NXtKJjo
