parviflora
Hesperaloe parviflora拥有纤细修长、白色丝状拱形叶片，能长成高达1.2米、宽约1.8米的灌丛，每年初夏都会盛开燃烧般鲜红且娇小的花朵，场面令人印象深刻。在美国西南部，这一植物还以“德州红丝兰”的昵称受到当地人喜爱。虽然“赫斯珀洛伊”（Hesperaloe）这个属名听起来比较冷门，但实际上意思是“西部的芦荟”。这一属原本曾被归为丝兰（Yucca），因其与丝兰及龙舌兰（Agave）都很接近，但据说生态更贴近芦荟，这也是得名的由来。“parviflora”意为“小花”。市面上还流通有如 H. parviflora 'Brakelights' 这样体型更小、花色更为深沉的品种。

@ScorpioKing1183 Hesperaloe parviflora or what we call red yucca, though it isn't a yucca. It's very popular in our area as it is drought resistant and works in our terrible soil. Plus they are very pretty. We have 5-6 of them in our front yard.
