A hybrid between Aeonium arboreum 'Zwartkop' A. arboreum 'Zwartkop' and Aeonium tabuliforme A. tabuliforme . This plant is especially known for its beautiful, glossy garnet-colored leaves. Originally, it was called Zwartkin (as also noted in the ICN). Technically, this makes it the same hybrid as Aeonium 'Jack Catlin' A. 'Jack Catlin' , but some sources consider them different: 'Jack Catlin' tends to be described as 'black', while this one is referred to as 'red', so there are references treating them as separate varieties.
