Also known as the "Shark Tooth Agave," this striking member of the agave family is characterized by its large, white, triangular teeth lining the edges of its leaves. It is a newly registered species from 2019, found in Mexico from Oaxaca to Puebla. It is said to be closely related to A. xylonacantha .
