It looks similar to Snow Flake A. rauhii 'Snow Flake' and ‘Lizard Lips’ Aloe ‘Lizard Lips’, but it's even whiter, with deeper green and a bolder contrast. This variety was bred by Renee O’Connell at Altmanplants, a huge farm in California, and originated around 2009. Its mother is A. 'Doran Black' , and its father is a special, closely-guarded cultivar from Altmanplants. Compared to other aloes, it is more sensitive to hot, muggy summers and to the cold. Even when winter temperatures stayed above freezing, there have been cases where it shriveled up, so be sure to handle it with extra care.
