Long, slender leaves perfectly divided to the left and right—this elegant stance, opening fresh light-green fans at the top of an upright trunk, is what makes this aloe so admired and popular. It's also known as the Fan Aloe. However, strictly speaking, it isn't actually an aloe; botanically, it's classified under a different genus called Kumara. When mature, it can grow into a true aloe tree, sometimes exceeding the height of a person, though it’s rare to encounter one that size.
